This show garden was designed for a competition run by
the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI),
to be built at the Gardeners' World Live 2005 show.
This courtyard garden was designed as a santuary from
the stresses and strains of daily life. A dark reflecting
pool, a stone statue framed by glossy ivy, and a hanging
chair as the final destination form the key elements.
Planting is green, cool and calming with pockets of rich
colour.
